The Ella Baker Trainers are young individuals located throughout the nation that have a willing heart to serve others. Coming from all walks of life, the EBTs, as they are commonly known, range from educators, to students, as well as leaders throughout their respective communities.

The Children's Defense Fund Freedom Schools program would not be the same without the energy and service of the EBTs. During the year, this group of servant leaders participate in workshops, provide technical assistance to CDF partners, as well as stay abreast of various CDF campaigns. During the annual Ella Baker Child Policy Training Institute, the EBTs are the driving force behind the success. Leading workshops, teambuilding initiatives, and climbing wall activities are just a few of the duties the EBTs have at National Training.
